Infrared wifi control for mini split

I want to control my mini split remotely and have been looking at the kind that clone the remote and then connect to your wifi. Am wondering if anyone has used one and if so have recommendations. My mini split is a Daikin if it matters. Been looking at something like this.

I'm curious if this would work with my Daikin units as well. Not being able to set a schedule is my biggest gripe about our units.

I went ahead and ordered the one I referenced due to the reviews and price. I really only want to be able to turn the mini split on or off remotely as in the winter I use it as a back up heat source to my forced air furnace at a lake place. I had a question about whether or not I could still use the original remote along with this so I emailed the company the question and they called back to answer, so the reviews about the good response from their tech service was at least good for me. You can use the original remote although they recommended you point it at their device instead of the wall unit in order to keep them in sync.
It might be a couple weeks before I get back up to our place to install this but can post my results if anyone would like, otherwise thank you for your input.
