Anyone have one of these?

I was given one today and it needs some work.

The pressure shut off switch does not seem to work. Is this a repairable item or a replacement item? Is there a way to adjust it? Compressor runs until pressure relief valve pops and then I turn compressor off. Need some advice and suggestions.

Previous owner has, what looks like a starting capacitor taped to the exterior of the 110v motor. Motor runs fine but I'm wondering why this is taped to the outside. The motor has a round cover on it and I'm guessing the original capacitor is under it. Anybody have any clues or suggestions?

Where can I download a manual?

Thanks.

Pressure switches are $40 maximum even for Square D. Most manufacturers sell a ton of combination of them depending on whether or not there is a single port in the back or 3-4 (for gauge and safety valve) and the preset cut on/off settings. There is no need to buy one from Ingersoll Rand. It will probably only cost more.

Its possible the capacitor failed, a different brand/style capacitor was used and it no longer fit under the cover.

I'm going to have a closer look today and see what's what.

Upon closer inspection I think what is missing is the cover for the Start or run capacitor.

I changed out the oil in the pump this a.m. and am staring on the search for a cover for the capacitor.

I also am cleaning the exterior of the unit because it has been sometime since anyone has showed this thing any love.

Any on line sources to buy just the cover for the capacitor?
