Ingersoll 7.5hp 2 stage compressor slow start/trip help

I have an Ingersoll 7.5hp compressor purchased from Tractor Supply 2 years ago that is slow to start/restart. Most times it will start from empty, but will not restart. So far I have replaced the motor, the capacitors, and the pressure switch unloader valve.

I have also had an electrician check the power coming in, during start, during restart, and normal operation. On the slow restarts it will pull over 80 amps on a 220V circuit. The main breaker supplying is 100A the secondary breaker just before the machine is a 50A.

It ran fine when new, but slowly developed a slow start. I'm out of ideas, and about ready to turn it into a receiver tank.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Check for the tank check valve leaking. Charge the tank and then take the line loose between the check valve and the head. Pull a balloon over it and tie the neck with some string or a tie wrap. Let it sit for a half hour or so. If the balloon inflates, change the check valve.

Almost forgot....trip the power switch off so that it can't start before you take things apart...:bounce:
