My question to you fine garage beasts is this, does the IR 20V 1/4 inch driver have variable speeds? I cannot seem to find this anywhere and was hoping one of you would own one?

Thanks In Advance

By "variable speeds", do you mean different tightening torque settings?
Cordless drills often have variable speeds, but impact drivers don't.

I have 5 IR cordless tools. As far as I know, 20V 1/4" impact driver is relatively older design (4~5 years old), which does not have 4 torque settings like the newer W5132.

Would you feel ok using the 1/4 driver on motorcycles and other smaller equipment?

I have a 12 volt Milwaukee 1/4" hex driver and use it on motorcycles all the time. The trigger is variable speed and it also has an adjustable clutch that can be used to limit torque.
