Is anybody using this impact that can offer some thoughts on it? I have the dewalt dcf895 and love it but my wife seems to have taking it over and I don't like to share  . Thinking about asking for it for Christmas since I already have the w7150 with three batteries.

Do you have the 3.0 or 1.5 Ah batteries with your 7150? If you have the 3.0 Ah batteries, I don't believe that IR makes a 1/4 driver or ratchet that is compatible with the 3.0 Ah batteries.

The 3AH battery will work on any 20V IR tool. This includes ratchet and the impact driver. If the 1/4" impact driver is anything like the 3/8" square impact, then it's a good tool. There is more than enough power to drive through small lag bolts.

OK good to know that the 3.0 battery can be used on the 3/8 ratchet and 1/4 driver. I have the 7150 and three 3.0 batteries also. I imagine that the ergonomics of using the 3.0 battery with the smaller tools would not be good.
