Ingersoll Rand 2235 TiMAX boot?

I have an IR 2235 that I'd like to buy a protective boot for, however, I can't seem to find one that lists that it will fit this gun. I've found them for other IR impact guns, however. Does anyone know if one exists? Or if one for another gun may fit?

I bought mine from JB tool sales, got it pretty quickly (shipped from wixom, mi so just down the road from me).

Boots for other IR guns wont fit, they are physically too small.

Can someone tell me if the inlet fitting on the bottom of the handle is supposed to turn when you install your air fitting in it? I just bought a 2135timax.
Probably normal but I'm used to the main fitting on the bottom not turning on air tools.

Also.....what other tool truck brands rebrand the 2135 besides MATCO. Looking for other possible boot ideas

Yes it turns with little force.

Mac used the 2135, its a grey and black gun. No longer produced I believe.

Mine also spins. I had a hard time holding it with a wrench too, because as a put the male QD on, I ran out of clearance for the wrench.

I just called my snapon dealer and he did a little research and found he is able to get a boot for the 2135 and the 2235. So there's another source if people are looking. $24 bux

I just paid $23.94 shipped from Amazon, so that price is right on from the snap-on guy

Just thought I'd share....got the boot in yesterday. Looks and fits great! I was not able to find a picture of the thing online anywhere before I ordered, so here is a picture for anyone interested.

I'm sure you'll be happy as well...it will be nice to not have to worry so much about setting my $300 impact down on the concrete floor anymore.

Just bought boot for my new 2235. got it online ir part# IRT2235M-BOOT
Is the same as pictured with the 2235 titanium lettering.
