Ingersoll Rand 259 3/4 impact

ANy comments on a 3/4 inch 259??..

Well my first 1/2 was a 2135TMAX and while I am sure it's not a bad impact. I am not too craZy about the composite body/plastic knobs. Like the 244 body better.. I kind of wish I had gotten something like a a 244 or 231 and then a 3/4" for more power when needed..

Don't be fooled by the plastic, that tool underwent some pretty extreme abuse testing during development and will withstand a lot of abuse. Also the titanium front end provides a lot of structural integrity.

Metal body impacts just can't win the power to weight war.

The aircat 1600 is ridiculously strong.. and quiet. You can literally only hear the impact mechanism running! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It's light enough to be used as a 1/2" replacement. It's one pound lighter than the 259 and has 600 ft/lb more torque..
