Ingersoll Rand Air Hammer

I'm in need of an air hammer and saw Amazon had one for about $130 with bits. Ingersoll Rand 122MAXK Short Barrel Air Hammer Kit.
Does anyone have this model? If so is it worth buying on Amazon or from the local Snap On guy for $40 more? I'm sure there's no difference in the tools but, would Mr. Snap On warranty the tool?

I would go with a long barrel model. More punch

I've got the 118max its a beast, I havent used a .401 hammer that hits harder.
The trigger is also extremely featherable.
its a great gun no regrets.

I have the Ph3050a in green I just bought last week for $150 at my local pawn shop and love it I wouldn't pay the new price though $424 plus tax. Looks like mine was only used once or twice I would definitely buy the long barrel and if your snap on guy sells them he should warranty it but if not you'd have to just make a phone call. I heard Thu IR bits are not very good buy some of the snap on bits if you can afford them they run 50-60 each ,Matco also makes a nice gun and bits I'm getting some off the truck Tuesday as they are half the price of the snap on but like them they both have a lifetime warranty. GL

My hardest hitter is a long barrel 4X rivet gun. Takes all standard .401 tools.

Thanks for the information fellas, I will have to check out the Matco gun Friday. I think the Mac guy has one on Promo starting next week. If those two are out of my price range I'll have to get the 118 max long barrel.
