Hello,

New here but looks like there's plenty of info on site but anyway, my question.
I've recently moved from snap on cordless impact gun to ingersoll rand w7150 kit with the 5.0ah batteries and I'm very impressed and now looking to add the ratchet or impact ratchet to my toolkit. Having never used air ratchets before I'm not sure what expect from the r3130/50, likewise the W5330/50. Can I use my current batteries with any of those tools? Any input welcome, cheers

I was thinking about the 7150 but I got a really good deal on the new Snapon in extreme green so I couldn't refuse.

Well I managed to sell my old snap on gun for £220 and the Ingersoll 7150 cost £420-220 :)

Anyone got any info on the Ingersoll rand cordless ratchets or impact ratchet(hammerhead?)

You can use the large batteries on the ratchet bit can't use the small batteries on the gun. I have the batteries my gun came with and the 1.5 ah that came with the ratchet? Also, the 20v ratchets are huge. I use my 12v ir ratchet more. It's a 1/4" I also have the w7150 and the r3130 I think it is. It's the 3/8 20v. Feel free to ask more, I have had them all a while.

That's a nice collection you've got. How do you find the 3/8 for breaking fasteners loose? I've got the chance of the 12v ratchet kit for $180 Canadian (going on holiday to Toronto this month) which is £100 with the exchange rates.

The 3/8 has broken whatever I've needed it to without manual ratcheting, but you can ratchet manually. It's a bit long so without extensions under the hood can be a challenge. Also hard to use for anything needing vertical loosening in the driveway. If it were me, I'd get the 3/8 12v. You can break up to 80 ft lb manually (IR told me this specifically when I asked).
