Taking the forum advice to introduce myself here.
Just another clean shaven greybeard from Minnesota.
Retired in Wisconsin to enjoy hiding in the woods.
Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Did mechanical design for a packaging equipment company for 20 years.
Go figure.
Own four cars because I can't bear to get rid of equipment that is working fine.
Can't bear it when the equipment isn't working fine so I fix it (see above).
Most interesting of the 4 is a 1965 Cobra clone running a 351 Cleveland small block out of a 1970 Bronco.
I didn't build it, but I did shake out most of its problems (typical horrible hot-rod electricals.) And I did add a Vortech supercharger. Did my own design and fab to fit the Vortech/Chevy small block kit under the hood. Still has problems with awful misfires coming out of third. Suggestions are welcome.
I'm not totally incompetent, but I have unlimited respect for the true craftsmen I encounter.
