Hey guys! Hope all of you are well and safe!

I have mostly been lurking here since joining. Great stuff everyday.

My question. I picked up a vv Craftsman wrench for a song. VERY light initials etching. I searched here, and a lot of comments say don't try to remove them. And I am of the opinion that if I was to sell it, I agree. But I will be keeping it. Any ways to do it safely?

Thanks in advance!

I have found a lot of wrenches and sockets with initials on them I always leave them on there I don’t know of any way to remove them unless you were to get some metal sealer or something and rub it over those areas if it’s a VV then definitely don’t want to grind it out

I actually like it when I buy old tools and they have initials or a name on them. It feels like I'm carrying on the work.
