Inner tie-rod removal tool

Need to remove and install some tie rod ends in my car (GM) and thinking about picking this up for the job:

I bought that same one to do the tie rods on my grandma's 04 impala and it worked great. Well worth the money even if you only use it once.

Yup, that's the same one I've got. Works good and I haven't broken it with an impact gun yet! (just a couple of quick bursts to break the tie rod loose)

Its a pain in the a$$ when you try to slide the main tube over the "crows foot" and the foot slides off the end of the tie rod and you have to start all over again. Plus, theres a lock that locks the crows foot piece in that will get full of dirt, oil and grime and wont work good. Pieces can get lost. Also, some tie rods do not have a square edge on them, theyre completly round(rare, but some are).

Id recommend this one, slide it over the tie rod, get the bolt finger tight and off comes the inner. No parts to get lost, and at the most youll have to replace a 10mm bolt. I use this tool almost everyday, never let me down

Yes sir, youll just need to tighten the bolt up pretty tight, no biggie
