I just bought this off e bay great tool, i just used it on my 1995 ford ******, 0sb-1 system, found a couple codes, but thats not my problem, my problem is im stuck with it, okay, i was thinking of returning it, becuse he forgot the adpt too plug into the desktop side, i have the long skinny cable for desktop, but not the adpt, so i went amazon and found this, that looks might work, Trendnet usb to serial converter TV-S9 ,$10.79 , is that what i need too buy, thank's for all replys in advance.That what i think is missing from this kit,

That tool didn't come with a serial to USB adapter you have to buy that yourself. That USB adapter will connect to a 9 pin serial cable, if that's what you have then it'll work.
