I was looking at diagnostic scanners and was almost set to purchase the Innova 3160B. Today I was looking on line and I see an Innova 31603. They seem to have the exact same specs, but they look different physically. Is one a newer model? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bruce

This has been discussed in length, through recent threads.

I would look at the Autel line in that price range, you will get more for your money.

I have the MD802 but within the 3140-3160 Price range you could get the Autel AL519.

My friend just picked one up on Amazon for $98

I have seen most of the recent threads. I was just curious as to what the difference was between the 3160B and the 31603. They look completely different, but seem to have the same specs.

The rectangular ones are newer. The specs are very similar but some models have some minor, usually insignificant, extras. Not worth paying extra for new if the old is on sale.
