Here's another one of my long term projects. I found a stripped down junker 1967 C-10 in a field. I had to have it. It was in my shop for 10 years but I did manage to finish it. I was so sick of looking at it I sold it soon after.

I saw someone build a PC into a picture frame years ago and decided I had to have one... I came across a motherboard and thought wow, this project almost completed itself now I just need to put it in a frame and I'm done! I won't get in to how much more it cost me but it was excessive. By the time it was done, I had undone all the wiring to wrap in UV reactive wire loom, flush mounted the fans in to the frame, added UV lighting, and just put way more time in to this than I thought at first. I will say though to me, the end result is awesome. I keep it hung up in my PC room. I just remote desktop in to it do play on it. I'm going to ultimately set it up to offer up media to other devices in the house (added wireless to it to reduce wiring going to it). Here's a few pics of it.
Hope you enjoy!

I had this great idea back in 2000 that I would cut my MGB in half lengthwise and widen it to fit C4 Corvette suspension without having huge fender flares. This would give me lots more room for a V8 engine swap amd provide more elbow room in the cockpit. I was off work from Christmas to New Year so I built a fixture and broke out the Sawsall.

12 years later after considerable project scope creep it looks more like a car again but still a ways to go.

I'm retiring in March so I should be able to finish it up finally.

I'm 6'4" and I have never had a problem with leg room in the MGB but the car was narrow feeling. I like the wider look and have been looking at it for so long that the stock ones look abnormally skinny when I see on on the road.
