Inside The Garage (from DIY Garage thread)

I posted some pics of my garage in the other DIY garage thread, and a couple of you asked for some inside pics. I didn't want to hijack the other thread, so here are a few more.

It is nothing fancy. I insulated the shop and finished it with OSB (fire rated drywall on the house wall, which still has brick behind it, but brick isn't fire rated...).

I can't figure out how to put text under my photos. The shop is 21 x 16" the two stall separated by a wall is 21' x 24' (I couldn't go any deeper than 21' because of setbacks, I am on a corner lot. There are plans to put a lift in the third stall where the silver IS300 is parked.

Shop is heated, warms up fast with an electric heater. It turned out nice, we do family holidays in there.

Thanks, I have a friend who is a contractor, he and his crew did the concrete work, and put up the trusses, roof and most of the soffits. Had a guy do the brick. I did the framing, exterior OSB, exterior trim, garage doors, lighting, wiring (past the subpanel I had installed, love having proper power and the subpanel in the garage, old garage had 15 amps that popped all the time and I would have to reset) insulation, interior walls and trim. I still want to put a lift in and insulate the roof on the car parking side.

Also have an electric heater after 40 years of working in a cold shop in the winter it feels pretty nice. 7500 Watt with remote control, it heats up the small shop in minutes. A heated floor would be nice if I were out there more, but the electric forced air warms things up fast for the occasional work I do out there in the winter.

Thanks for posting pics of the inside of your shop. That is a great looking Triumph! Curious about your workbenches. They have an interesting old industrial look about them.

The tops are kind of too nice to actually do work on, I think i am going to make a steel cover for at least one--I also had to totally re-organize my tools from the automotive style tool chests they were in at the old house, but since I just did it they are pretty well organized and I know where thing are.
