Thanks, I put R-13 in the walls. I wanted to use old barn metal (Rusted) but I could'nt find enough and what I found was kind of pricey (they are proud of that stuff around here!!) the wainscoating is rough sawn poplar. The lumber is not kiln dried, not sure how much it will shrink up?? I would like to put a stone fireplace in the middle of the next wall, gable end, which is the front/road side of my barn.

I believe I improved my time by just about a nanosecond on this section of wall!!
I would like to find me a clock or nice beer sign for above my door.

Can you elaborate on how you determined the 1ns time difference? :)
Good luck finding one with that resolution for above your door.

This is my fourth section of wall finishing, I'm getting quicker!!
I'm a slow carpenter. Probably go with a clock above the door.

Well....I'm making some headway inside. I had to hook up a mini split Saturday *For my buddies son) and before I got done I ended up with a free 42" Vizio Smart TV and a free Pioneer surround sound. I gave the neighbor next door to the job a roll of electrical tape, he came out an hour later and asked if anyone wanted a TV, the catch was the sound didnt work, I said I would take it for my barn, the guy I was doing the job for was smiling, he said his uncle just dumped an older Pioneer surround sound on him last month, so I got both for free. Now I need to figure out an antennae system for the surround sound receiver, a little static when playing the FM Stereo.

I have been insulating and closing the walls in on my 30'x40' at the rate of 1 wall per year. Makes a tremendous improvement but so far it has brought productive work in the shop for however long it takes. Hopefully the last 30' wall, with the walk and garage door openings will go fast and be less destructive.

I like your use of barn wood and tin. Makes for a nice ambiance. What will you be using for your ceiling?

I will probably use the painted metal siding used on the outside for the ceiling, but it will probably be the last thing I do. I will try to pick me up an RCA cable and see if I can get sound out of the TV. I am still debating on wood stove (thats the unfinished part in the middle) I am thinking of brick or stone there. Its my man cave, dog cave too!!
