Insipration

I don't need much of excuse to get in the shop and start tinkering. This website has been very helpful to the success I have had with some current projects but every once in a while(like now) I don't have any projects, I reorganized the shop twice and cleaned it spotless and I have no reason or inspiration to start another project. This may sound silly but sometimes in situations like this I seek out inspiration in videos, movies or whatever to trigger some ideas. The first Iron Man movie we bought for my kids but I found myself inspired after watching him build a that suit in a cave. Even though it is extremely unrealistic and it is just a movie I still found myself inspired to get out in the shop and tighten my welding skills or fabricate something for sheer artistic expression. Do any of you feel this way sometimes? Do you seek inspiration and if you do, what is that inspires you?

I always have a project..my a.d.d. Keeps my brain about 3 to 5 projects ahead of myself.

I am almost 58 years old and that hasn't happened yet.
I have a current backlog of at least ten years, too.

I'd wager to say, I'm more than 5 projects behind and I'm in the same boat as Steevo, too. The problem is, I feel sometimes like I'm running out of time. Just turned 55 three days ago and the things I haven't completed are really bothering me right now. Time is like the pedal's to the floor and just kicked into passing gear.

I have a list of projects that I want to do but most are larger projects that cost more money.

When the cash flow is low, I find some smaller things to do to keep myself busy. It's generally kept in the back of my mind or something that I need to do but have been putting it off. The bug hits me and I'm off working on it.
