I have a section of my foundation/crawlspace that seems to be completely sealed up. There is electrical and hvac running through it, but I cannot find an access. I’m hoping to find an inspection camera that I can poke in and look around. The typical mechanic versions ive used are great for close up work like inside a wall, or cylinder, but can they see across 12 feet? Is there something different I should be looking for?

I have a crawlspace like that and we ended up adding a floor hatch under one of the appliances, we actually have two floor hatches now
This particular room has 105 year old original hardwood flooring, so I’m just a tad hesitant to start cutting.

Sewer cams only do well for a foot or two in front of the lens. Would be better strapping a camera on top of an rc car and running that around in there.
With my luck, I’d lose both a camera, and an r/c car! But in reality, if I had enough room to get the r/c in there, I could just poke my head in with a flashlight. The only access is an old j box cutout...
I’m thinking of maybe just a pole with my phone duct taped to it.

I have two old phones for similar purposes, that way is something goes really bad it’s not the end of the world

my dad, who is now 85, has a cheep digital camera for this purpose and it has a threaded hole on the bottom

he had been chasing a leak on a boat, and it turned out to be the fiberglass mufflers were dripping the was visible on a picture or video he took

Aftermarket auto backup camera

Just need 12 volt battery and video display (old TV with video input)

Tape the camera (with night vision LEDS) to a stick and extend the wires and poke it through your little access hole and take a peek
