Happened over a Velvor tools ad. I know their stuff is normally cheap garbage, but...

Inflatable insta paint booth.

9x13ft for about $300 shipped.

Sure. Velvor, Velveetar, velmore,... shatever it is either way cheap junk.

It's the paint booth that caught my interest, not that outfit.

Seems like whenever I'm painting stuff it's wanting to rain, be windy, bugs think it's the best flower in the state, etc. Inside and turn everything pink from red overspray (ask how I know!) plus breathe fumes for a week.

Little blow up paint booth wouldn't be too bad?

As much as I hate the idea of painting I'm probably going to have to do it myself on the airplane. I've been looking at pop-up wedding tents and inflatable booths as a one-time-use item for the project. We will see how motivated I feel about painting come summer.

The bounce house paint booths are only good for spot jobs and primer operations. They can't evacuate the overspray fast enough to do a complete paint job in.

Absolutely nothing.......dont know why some folks have to post dumb $hit like that. This may be of interest to you https://www.painttalk.com/threads/pop-up-paint-booth.98111/
Because this is a guy that fought tooth and nail over paying the price for a quality 3/4" drive torque wrench. I'm equally amused why people think that a pair of window fans is going to satisfactorily exhaust the cloud of overspray that's going to be generated by automotive painting. Where I live, Phoenix, AZ we have low winds, very few bugs and mild to hot temperatures. Better to paint outside under an open sided car port, which I've done with considerable success, than to use one of these blow up doll paint booths. Check recent videos from Paint Society where using one of these was a complete fail, it self deflated while the paint was still wet, and Kandyman where he used one to paint an oversized truck and hated every minute of it.

You want the best advice? Well here goes from somebody who has himself access to a Garmat.
1) Paint it outside in an open sided car port
2) Pay the price ($1500-$2000) for a good (at least five stage) turbine paint sprayer. Fuji and Apollo make good ones. You get a spray gun and turbine that should last a lifetime and you don't need to buy a big compressor as it's part of the turbine package. The overspray will be 1/5th of that which you'll get with a SATA X5500, DeVilbiss DV1 or Iwata SuperNova top of the line professional gun. Since Sumboodie will likely be using a Harbor Freight $20 purple gun, and likely a nail gun compressor, it will be even worse.
3) Call all of the local bodyshops and see if they are willing to rent out their spray booth for the weekend. Without a doubt the best and cheapest way if possible.

I wouldn't expect a Me-*** auction quality job or anything. Mostly painting equipment parts, pieces with rattle can. Perhaps few projects here or there.

Torque wrench I got works great.

I never said I was painting cars.
