here's a shot of the step and sides covered (with some rubber molding). We made a backsplash too to complete the look. The construction glue should dry clear.

Now i just need some kind of around the garage molding, fancier lighting, and a 911 turbo and i'll be done.

Aaron

where did you get the moulding for the step edges?

A lot of guys love this stuff but without some idea of the price, I will not consider buying any racedeck

I called to get options and pricing and the salesperson was was very straight forward about pricing. There was no pressure to buy over the phone and she even offered to send me a couple samples of the tiles I'm interested in purchasing so I can check construction and color.

Not giving the discounted pricing online is purely to keep retailers happy. If Racedeck is selling directly to GJ.com members at below the retail price, their vendors will be forced to do the same for everyone else.

After considering epoxy for several months, but not wanting to wait until Michigan weather cooperates in order to get it done, I think RaceDeck is a good option. Plus, I can install it and move my garage full of stuff around at my own pace instead of filling my driveway with thousands of dollars in tools overnight while epoxy is curing.

Also...if I ever move, there will be some resale value for the RaceDeck, whereas worn epoxy won't be going with me.

I though my idea about the rumble strip was original, oh well. Love the way your garage came out! Awesome that you can wash your cars in the garage! Thanks for the inspiration!

First post here... been looking for a place like this for a long time.

I'm currently building a 16x30 that will store my daily driver (Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT) and a Polaris RZR. It will get muddy/snowy in the winter and sandy in the summer from the RZR. I have always liked the look of the tiles and am now in a position to go with either tiles or the epoxy. Clean up is also very important to me as I do spend a lot of time detailing the Jeep.

I would have to go with the free flow to deal with melting snow and water in general. My question is regarding the handling of melting snow. Does it actually "flow" or does it just evaporate due to the open design? I can't see it evaporating much in the winter. If it is designed to flow, my garage floor has no slope to it at all so I'm not sure that would work.

I realize these may be stupid questions but I want to do it right the first time. Thanks for any input!

My floor does not slope. The snow/road slush that falls off the pickup onto the FreeFlow simply gradually melts and falls down beneath the tiles. Then it evaporates in almost no time once the temp' is high enough. I do hose down the floor now and then during the summer and am able to move the accumulated crud an wash water out the front of the room to the driveway. It isn't as rapid a process as it would be with a bare floor, but it does ok. I find the tiles to be worth the little bit extra work as they are so much easier on my body than concrete.

Another garage enhancement added - 2015 Porsche Macan S.

I know, time to clean the tiles… :)

After 5 amazing years if use, I sold my floor today since we're selling the house and building with a huge garage so I'll buy all new free flow when it's done. I've loved this floor every single second of ownership. Removal was fast and easy too.

Could not have been happier.

I did, some really cool stuff there.

Very intrigued by the waterless wash product line and the killer detailing stool.

I'm super stocked on Griots stuff right now (been buying by the gallon) but will check the Adam's stuff out once I get a little lower.

I keep thinking I need to try a de-ioniser too.

Two best things about Adams are the customer service and the guarantee. Can’t be beat!
Rinsless Wash and H2O Guard and Gloss are my two favorites
