Well after selling my 4post when I sold my last car a few years ago I finally got a new lift. Got a sweet deal on it so did a few modifications; 35’ hoses, new 90 degree fittings and mounted it on my wall. Turned out pretty good I must say. Just waiting for the 6” arm adapters to come in to get a little more height.

Are you going to lift up the car and set it on cribbing or jack stands to put in the 6" adapters?

I am at stock height and I can barely get my 4" high pucks under the gt500.

Are those quick connect hydraulic couplings at the bottom of the cylinders?

other than the DRs, what did it take to go 10.5?

Actually I use 17” bias ply slicks at the track... High DA of 3800’ and I’ll Have to wait until next spring to get a new personnel best since I did some suspension tweaks to lower my 60’.

I just copy and pasted my signature from SVTP forum:
2013 Shelby GT500 - SVTTP, SVTPP, Nav, Recaros, Glass Roof. Mods- Stainless Works LT Headers w/ o/r X and 3" Exhaust, 10% OD, JLT CAI, FRPP CJ Mono TB, VMP Triple pass HE, 170 tstat, 100 Octane Lund Tune w/nguage, MGW gen2 shifter, Mantic Clutch, N2MB WOTbox, NGK TR7ix, JLT catch can, BMR LCAs, BMR Relo Brackets, BMR Panhard Bar, CHE DS Loop, Mosier 31spline custom alloy axles, Eaton TrueTrac, FRPP 3.73s, welded tubes, Hoosier 17" Slicks.

Nice setup, I am jealous.

Thanks man!

Yes, just d/c, unbolt and throw the wheels back on the post to move them. Also have spare tiles to put down when I do.

Thanks man. I use 305/35/20 Mickey Thompson SS for the street and I hook in 2nd. Use 17” Hoosier bias ply slicks for the track.

If your still on the stock brembo wheels and tires that is likely your problem.

I run 275/40/20 nitto 555r on the stock wheels, on my gt500 its good for a 40 roll when warmed up. I also have a set of 295/55/15s ET Streets that hook from a 10 roll on the street and dead hook at the track. I also ran a 10.5 on pump gas with my 2012 gt500.

No for the street I run Shelby CS-14 20x11” wheels and MT ETstreet SS in 305/35/20 and Racestar wheels with Hoosier 17” bias ply slicks. Oh nice man. With a better 60’ and a lower DA I could be 9.9x-10.00.

What is a lift like that used for? Tire changes and brakes is obvious but what are some other uses?

Looks great! How high is your ceiling? Is your car lowered? I had a 2 post in my old house but my new house has a garage with only a 9ft ceiling, i'm considering getting one of these lifts. I struggle getting anything under my car.

Thanks. My ceiling is 10’ but this doesn’t lift the roof off my car past 8’. No it’s not lowered. When I want to use extensions I lift the car up, set the tires down on racewamps then I put on the 6” extensions. Without any adapters the arms sit pretty low, if you still can’t fit for any reason just drive the car onto 2x6s or something.

Nice! Hopefully your tweaking will help. At a lower DA you should be going into the 9's and pick up some MPH with that power.

I have a BendPak lift in my garage, mid-rise scissor lift with 2 ramps that are separated allowing you to get under the car with no problem. The lift will raise about 52" with no additional pieces. My bother was just over this morning and we were playing around with my car and we both said we should have done this 20 years ago. So much easier to work on cars while seated on a rolling chair, etc. No more lying on the floor. I strongly recommend if you own a home and like playing with cars you consider a lift. No, no affiliation with any lift company.
