Installing a cordless tool storage unit in a Snap On KRL 1022

Snap on sells a cordless tool storage unit (part number 1098J5000) that is intended for installation in a 12 inch deep KRL power drawer end cabinet. Has anyone tried to install this in a 10 inch KRL drawer? I'm curious if it will work in a 10 inch drawer or if it will need to be modified.

In case any KRL owners (1022 or similar 30 inch deep) were wondering this kit does not work in a KRL 10 inch narrow drawer without modification. The modification was easy though. I had to cut additional slots in the rear panel to lower the middle support (lowered about 1 1/4 inches) and drill two additional holes in the front panel for the middle support. Other than the price Snap On charges for the kit I am happy with it. The air tools and cordless tools fit in a more compact area which frees up one of my wide drawers.

I bought a SnapOn Classic 54 DoubleBank(Work) after CoWorker bought SnapOn Master 72 TripleBank
& I so wanted that PowerToolHolder
LORD bless me to find FaceBook guy selling his from SnapOn Classic 72 TripleBank (at my price) only issue was gonna be size/Height
Well came too tall for SnapOn Classic 54 DoubleBank(Work)
Too Deep for MacTool Edge 54 DoubleBank(Home)
Got CoWorker to cut just shy of 2” off Bottom for SnapOn(Work)
But couldn’t use bar because it push battery too high to close drawer so it look like yours in the pic
This yr I bought US General version from Harbor Freight for Mac box(Home)
Cut 1” off bottom fit perfectly
It has multiple screw holes for the bar height to be adjusted
So go back to work & bend & selfTap screw in SnapOn holder voila done!

I also recently bought USGeneral 3PowerTool MagnetHolder it fits in drawer also so there
