Hello everyone, I have a old west german black and fecker 7 1/4 miter saw and I would like to put a new diablo thin kerf blade on it but I am having a slight problem. The blade on it now is probably original to the saw (30y+ since it is west german) and the old blade is thick kerf. The new diablo is thin so it does not get tightened down enough the blade to stay in place. Should I just throw a thin washer in to get the needed thickness, any ideas?
This is what it looks like, not mine but close enough, same as the older craftsman ones as well.

Give these people a call on Monday morning tell them the arbor size and the thickness you are after then they will help you out and be sure give them a link to your pictures on the GJ.

Find a washer that fits snugly, reassemble and don't worry about it.
