Installing a pressure washer reel?

It’s gotten to a point where I need to replace my hose for my karcher HD 7125 and iv had enough of untwisting and packing it when I’m done. Iv always played with the idea of mounting a retractable reel identical to my air line.
Just unsure if this is a bad idea.

My goal is to place the pump next to my air compressor running a fixed line and mount a 20m reel next to my existing airline.





Is this too much hosing for this unit?
Any issues I will run into?

I'm guessing from the reel he posted plus using meters the OP is not on this side of the pond.

My question isn’t about brands. It’s about if I’m going to run into any issue running such a long hose for this unit

Not with a 3/8 hose. That is a bitty unit, 3/8 is used on washers 2x the size. Remember, you can pipe it anywhere you want.

I did this exact project.
I used an Auto wind air hose real and converted it to high pressure swivel and a 50’ pressure hose.
I have an electric pressure washer on the other side of the shop with 1/2” stainless tubing that is approx 75’ long. So the total line distance from the pump is 125’.
The electric pump is a karcher that says it does 1750 psi but I have a pressure gauge at the pump and at the wand. The pump side does 1250Psi and at the wand it is down to about 1000 psi. The advertisement for all these pumps is misleading.
But saying that it does very well for cleaning off my vehicles. It does ok for cleaning the shop floor.
I am very happy with this setup.

I got hot, 5 gpm. Made for cutting grime and de icing. I use it every day, so far only washed 1 car today, was going to do another but it started raining. I have the controls outside and a port to shove hose thru, use it a lot in the winter.
