Installing can lights in open eaves

I would like to do some eave lighting on my shop as well as on my house.

Any thoughts as to how to install a can light (or similar) in an open eave setup?

Look at some lo-voltage systems for decks and other outside uses. Are you looking for accent lights or a brighter security type lighting?

Good question and honestly haven't completely decided - house is dark and want to light it up a bit
