Gents,
I'm remodeling my garage. Painting my 25-YO primed walls and ceiling. Ordering my Racedeck tomorrow. Cleaned up and painted my work bench and want to install one of those $89 Formica counter tops from Lowes. My top is 3/4" plywood with the outer plys being Masonite. It's had everything spilled on it and, it's already been swapped, both sides are rough. I'm looking at suggestions about how to firmly attach the counter top. Liquid nails and 1-1/4 sheet rock screws run in from underneath?? I will be bolting a vise which will hold that end down. I'm concerned about the adhesive not bonding because of all the **** that's been spilled on the hardwood over the years. Any ideas??
