installing entrance doors on pole barn

I have a two doors 34 inch wide to install in my pole barn,im going to install each of the doors beside a post and make a frame from there,im looking for some pointers,advise or anything i should know before i start to frame it,did a google image search and found next to nothing for framing entrance doors on pole barns.If someone could post a pic of there entrance door in their pole barn that would be very helpful.

So, in other words, you have to plan to buy a specific door ahead of time and get the "rough opening" dimensions. The opening is then framed to that. Maybe that's over obvious. But you have to create enough structure to span between the poles so the door frame is solid.

Mine has posts both sides of each door. One side is a truss supporting post, the other is only a 10', buried ~3 feet and 7' exposed to create the rough opening.

I am posting a few pictures of how I did it on my barn. I have two walk-in doors, one installed by me and one installed when the barn was built. I would not install right next to a post - come over a few inches. You have to have 2x4 or 2x6 lumber outlining the door (laying flat) to attach the metal to. You then need 2x4s on edge to provide framing for the door. I used metal mending plates on the flat lumber, to hold it in place while I cut a hole in the metal, then installed the other 2x4s.
