When roofers put down insulation under roofing, the use special washers that are metal.

They are about 2.5" in dia. , and they have little grippers bent into them.

Ask a roofing supply store.

if it's going to be indoors and not exposed to the elements... "git er done" style would be to use soup can lids. might take a while to collect enough. you could always cut 2" squares out of a roll of metal flashing... watch them corners they's sharp!

good luck

If you want it to look a LITTLE better than soup can lids how about a couple of progressively smaller diameter galvanized washers on a large head nail? It sounds like your location makes your options pretty limited but Lowes carries plenty of nails and washers!

How about old, or mistint paint? Paint it onto the OSB thick then stick your foam up and use the paint as a glue.

You'll need to precut your foam of course.

If you use adhesive be sure to use the type that is specifically for foam board! Are you going to cover the exposed foam? Foam board is very flammable and should be covered with a non-combustible covering.
