I did a search but didn’t find what I was looking for. I just finished vaulting my ceiling for the single bay and want to have the garage door follow the ceiling angle. Has anyone done this? What is required? Can I source the parts needed to do it myself? Thanks, Kurt.

Roof pitch tracks are a standard option for most companies.

I have a vaulted ceiling with a high lift and Liftmaster 8500W, no issues. It was professionally installed.

Mine looks just like TheShrine
Even the opener

When I went to Menards to order the door they had a form to fill out for all the details.
The door came with tracks and springs just right.

Installed by 2 first timers just following the factory instructions
3 years with no problems.

Rather than high lift tracks, look into 32" radius tracks. Much longer radius provides the clearance while also making the door open smoother.

I have 32" radius tracks along with the tracks following the cathedral ceiling. I had them professionally engineered and installed.

I had a door installed in the barn when I was in the country that followed the roof pitch so I could get to the mezzanine while the door was opened. guy just measured it & ordered it.

Thank you for all of the information. I am hoping to use the existing door but will need some track extensions. Is a double spring required for a vaulted application? The opener will be holding up more weight than a traditional ceiling.

the spring geometry is different, you'll need the correct spring , and If I recall the rollers were different too.
there shouldn't be any more weight on the door if it's properly installed and sprung etc. it should stay where it is in any position without a closer attached

Pick a door style you want, take some basic measurements and shoot an email to the door manufacturer. They should be able to either get you some part numbers or a local dealer for you to visit.
