So what comes/came first...Chicken or the Egg?
I'm in process of insulating and then strapping/sheathing the cieling in the garage. I just was thinking...what should I do first...install rough wiring for the T8 or T5 fixtures first? or TRY to pull the wire after the fact. My only area of concern is 12' in the center of the building where I already have the attic floor installed.
The plan was to use some 4' fixtures all along, but now i'm thinking I need to install the wiring first before insulating and sheathing at least under that floor. I guess it wouldnt be an issue if I had a lighting plan....
How did you guys do yours? I'm PROBABLY gonna use the T5 Lithonia fixtures from HD...might end up with T8's because of $$, but either way the plan was the same in that I will use the fixture itself as the "box", so no boxes are needed in the cieling, I was gonna just drill the sheetrock as I installed the lights..
