Installing metal ceiling liner next week, couple questions?

I will be starting to install a metal ceiling in my pole shed next week.

My first question is, for J-Channel, what do I use to mount that stuff with. Screws or roofing nails?

i used the same screws for the ceiling panels to secure the J channel.

I used construction screws.

Drywall screws work too. There's not much load and they have a lower profile than pole barn screws.

I used roofing nails because they are flat and will be covered up where you cannot see the nails anyway
