Greetings,
I am planning on installing French Patio doors in my 30' X 28' 8/12 pitch loft truss garage. I will be building a carport deck as well and I wanted to know if I need to take off the sheet metal siding prior to installing the patio doors or if I could mark the siding from the inside to indicate where to cut the opening? I would love to hear from anyone who has a garage with loft trusses that has created a similar concept. I am under the impression that the best way is to remove the siding first.
