Installing Subpanel on wall; other side will be a stove.

Hello All.

This is my first post. Thanks for all the useful information gain so far.

I'm in the process of renovating my garage. I am going to be installing a subpanel on a wall that will eventually shared with a stove (kitchen remodel later). Is it okay to install a subpanel in the wall where on the other side of it will have a stove and vent? Also, the gas line will be a stud over.

I believe there has to be a certian amout of clearance around panels. Just mount it so that any ducting for the vent wont be in the way of your wires.

I wouldn't think twice about what you are doing. Respect the required clearances and you're fine. Electric and gas and heat are often very close to each other.
