So we just moved into our new house and it came with a 30x40 outbuilding (Details forthcoming) but in the garage is this heater that I have not been able to find any information for. It stands about 6ft. tall on a stand with wheels. It has a plate on the bottom that says model 2025 Insto Hot Heater and at the bottom says Insto Gas Corporation. The only thing I can find on Google is the insto gas corp was based out of Michigan and the last patent they filed was around June of 1980. I'm curious if anyone on here might know what I have.

Mine looks similar to the 2000 model. It's in decent shape too, but the Previous home owner said he hadn't fired it up in the 8 years he lived there. It was his Father In Laws house before him and he used it quite a bit from what I understand. I have no idea if it works properly or not and I'm a little nervous to just fire it up and see. I like my new shop and would like to keep it in one piece! The few HVAC people I have called in my area have no idea what this thing is or where to even get parts if needed so they all quote big numbers just to do a safety check.
