Justin I got my 2 coats of rust bullet down, dryed then masked off for my lines. by this time base coat had exceeded the window by a day. So I sanded where the lines was going and you were right about the red it took 2 coats. Any way I am now going to have to scuff up the whole floor to put the clear coat on.
My questions is how scuffed up does it have to be real aggressive or just skim over to ruff it it up a little. If its going to have to be aggresive would a floor buffer with 120 grit mesh type sanding do it. I did pretty aggresive where the lines went but I used a orbital slow speed sander for that. If Ive got to do that to the whole floor what would be the best choise of equipment to rent?

By the way the floor looks great!

Morning. Just lightly sand it with 110 grit. PLEASE call me or text me if something comes up. I'm not on here as much on the weekends

Thanks Justin I tryed the floor polisher on a small spot way too much. I had an air operated sander and that worked pretty well. I've got the clear coat on. I had a gallon left so I'm waiting for the clear to dry a little and I will give a 2nd coat to the 2 main drive in bays.

It looks sharp I will post more pictures when complete. I will also give a brief comment on my experiance and the don't dos. I can say right now it is an awesome looking floor.

Absolutly! I will be able to walk on it tomorrow. I'll get some shots of it but to me it looks awesome. In fact I was looking at it and found 2 little spots I some how missed with clear coat so I called in today and ordered a quart of the red and a quart of the clear to touch up. I put a chevy bowtie on floor that needs some touch up. It is amazing! Thanks for such an awesome product!
