Insufficient privileges message

I was looking at the classifieds and wanted postings and got the insufficient privileges message. How does one get these privileges?

I could be wrong but I think you have to dm the seller or iso. You can't post in their thread

I think you can reply to your own for sale posts to ad more, edit etc... or to "bump" them to the front page after a certain amount of time.

Not being able to comment to other peoples FS items is a good thing. Keeps the negativity out or others commenting on price, posting another cheaper item from ebay etc. My guess it is what it is because of issues in the past.

We no longer allow replies to classified ads. In order to make a purchase or ask a question, simply send a private message to the seller. You can do so by clicking on the seller's username and then clicking "Send Private Message."

Why can't you reply to a wanted ad?

We no longer allow replies to wanted ads. In order to contact the user that placed the ad, simply send them a private message. You can do so by clicking on the seller's username and then clicking "Send Private Message." Thanks and enjoy the forum! Ryan

figured it was going to be joke about being turned down for service at the local rub 'n' tug joint.

Correct, all interaction with classifieds has to be done via "conversations" formerly known as Private Message
