When looking at details for insulating a foundation with slab most details don't show the stem wall height above the top of the slab. I will have 6" to 8" of stem wall above the slab. Should this section of stem wall be insulated? I am putting tubes in the floor.

My 2" rigid foam goes to the top of my 8" stemwall. I covered it with a 1" x 12" piece of pine. A nice thermal break for the heated floor to the unheated stemwall.
