Insulate Under Deck Storage?

We're replacing and expanding an old rotted deck. We decided to add a storage shed/room under part of the deck. This room will have an under deck drainage system in the ceiling and a concrete floor.

Our initial plan was to just use it to store mowers and garden stuff, but after we expanded the deck, we have a lot more space in there and would like to use the additional space to store other stuff.

I was wondering whether or not it would be worth the effort to insulate the walls, to maybe moderate the extreme temperature swings? We're in Kansas, so it can get both very hot and very cold.

Thoughts?

There's no point to insulating it if you're not going to be heating and cooling it also.
Anything that needs that good of a space doesn't belong under a deck.
