I have a vinyl residential window that is broken and need to replace the glass in.

Does anyone know somewhere online to order insulated glass panels with grills inside?

The window manufacturer is no longer in business and I can not find a local glass shop (within an hour at least) willing to just order the panel without wanting to charge an extra couple hundred to come out and install. I've installed them before but my hookup on glass is no longer in business.

There is a place on Lyell Avenue in Rochester, NY called Rochester Colonial Manufacturing Company. They fabricate replacement insulated glass panels but I don't know if they will ship them to you. I have ordered them over the phone and picked them up. You would have to give them the exact dimensions of the glass and its overall thickness, so they can use the correct spacer to make it the right thickness. You can find them online or give them a call at 585-254-8191. Maybe they can help you out, they are good people and I did business with them for decades before retiring. If they can't help you, they will point you in the direction of someone who can.

I have used Binswanger Glass 1157 South Marietta Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA 30060. I carried the window to them and they had it ready in a few hours. Insulated with the grid between the panes

That might be a good option since it is about 900 miles closer than the place I mentioned.

Sometimes it is expensive to be cheap.

Shipping costs will exceed the value of the glass.

Insulated clear over clear with internal grids wholesale for under 4 dollars a square foot. Retail is 3 times that. So a standard sash for a typical window is in the 10 square foot range so retail should be around $120 to $150 but the labor to come out and measure then return to install is where it gets expensive. We charge a full hour both sides and we bill out @$90. per hour.

I sell to DIYers all the time and they pick up their glass and install themselves quite often. However 1 in 3 measure the glass wrong and end up buying a second or even third unit.

Insulated glass is not a stock item and will take at least 24 hours to manufacture.

I have removed from the hole, and brought in many a "fogged" double paned window frame to the local glass shop.
The replacement panes are often standard sizes that they have in stock.
Even if not in stock, I have never waited over a week to pick up my replacement frame.
They know the sources and can do the work.
It is worth it.
