Good morning..... I'm looking for an insulated sliding door plan. I've searched and can't find anything that fits the bill.

Thanks
Bb

I'm not sure what you are looking for but here is how I insulated my pole barn type sliding doors. I used polyiso panels for their high R value / inch. My door supports were only 1-1/2" thick and I used 2" foam panels and that allowed the panels to overlap the girts on the outside under the tin. That overlap trapped and secured the polyiso panels in place and really cut down on air leaks. Here are a couple of pics which shows some panels in place. I cut the panels on a table saw for a nice tight fit. Ed.

I spray foamed my sliding door between the Perkins and shaved it smooth. I built my shop in an existing building. They covered all of the outer walls with 2" of foam before I framed the inner walls and installed bat insulation.
