I already ran a search for this company through the forum and didnt find anything so here it goes......

My company is taking on a new MFGR for High Voltage Live Wire Tools.... the MFGR is "Insulated Tools LLC" out of CA by way of the United Kingdom. Does anyone have any knowledge of these tools?

General run down is.... they offer a wide range of live wire tools from screwdrivers (like everyone else) to ratchets and everything in between. Their claim of superiority is that they use "Nylon 11" as insulation instead of the standard PVC coating. They arent expensive or flashy but they do look as though they are pretty hefty and can take some abuse. I have been told to start pushing them, but i have not had them in hand to really see how they are built. any input would be great.

here and there, some are higher and some lower in the screwdrivers, you can only get them as singles but they range from about $9.00 to $21.00. the snips and pliers are the same way anywhere from about $30 to $60.

They state their tools comply with Category “C” safety standards. Impressive, as I have not seen that being stated on others. I will have to bring this up to our team and see what they feel about this.

As we work in inclement weather exactly like what they have tested for: -40'C. Thank you for providing the link and information . . .
