The garage on my house is fully built in. It shares one wall with the living room, one wall with the entryway/stairs, and two outside walls.
The outside of the house is red brick which gets rather hot in the sun. The exterior walls are insulated, between the bricks and the drywall. I'm not sure about the interior walls.
So any thoughts on insulating the garage door? The garage is not conditioned and gets rather warm. I don't plan to condition the space, but I do want to keep the garage from warming the rest of the house.
I was thinking I could insulate the garage door and maybe the ceiling above the garage, which I can access through the attic.
Lastly, how about a wall or roof vent fan pulling air out of the garage.
