Hello Everyone,
New to the garagejournal, glad I found it though. I have been searching the treads for idea's etc. I just finished putting up a Miracle Truss 30x36 garage with 12' eaves and was looking for suggestions for insulating and prevent condensation buildup from heating. I was told to use foam insulation panels but considered using foam and batt insulation. I plan on sheet rocking the walls and the ceilings. Suggestions or advice from those whove been there already would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I have seen a steel building that had foam sprayed on insulation. Actually been in it in the summer, it was very cool temps inside.

I put my 50x60 up this year and spray foamed the walls. I wasn't planning on drywalling, but am doing so now as the foam isn't approved uncovered.

I had it installed late summer and can't say yet how the performance is. It seemed to keep the area cooler but since I haven't actually gotten to use the space yet, I can't be sure. I still think it was the right thing to do though as the shop is air conditioned and it really sealed everything up.
