I'm looking for inspiration pictures from anyone who has pictures of a garage or shop ceiling where the roof deck is insulated and then finished (beadboard or drywall) but the engineered trusses are left exposed and painted.

You don't say where you are but will you heat it and are top chords 2x4? Not much insulation room especially if you have to vent. Maybe youve already decided on spray foam.

The size of the truss members will be a factor in how you attach a finish surface to the bottom of the top chord. A small span might have 2x4 tops but a snow load might dictate 2x6. Closed cell spray foam direct to the sheathing makes for a rigid and airtight roof.
Not knowing your location make guessing difficult.
