Insulating ceiling in pole barn

I have a 40 x 60 pole barn, built 30 years ago. Was storage before I bought it, going to turn it into a machine shop. All wood construction. Outside skin is aluminum, roof is aluminum also, with some type of 1.5" foam insulation between the aluminum in the roof and the 2x4's on top of the trusses. Just finished framing the walls in, insulated and drywalled them.

I would like to put more insulation in the ceiling to help keep heat in. Suspended ceiling is alot of dough and will get dirty in the shop. Trusses are 8' apart so drywalling the ceiling would take alot of construction.

Is there any type of blanket insulation that could just be stapled to the 2x4's resting on the tops of the trusses? Not sure if the existing foam insulation had a vapor barrier on it, but it is pretty tattered so it would not be serving that purpose now.

Any links or idea what to shop for?

You could get the same blanket insulation that is sandwiched under the roof metal. It is available through most metal building suppliers. You could install onto the 2x4s. IT will have a white vapor barrier on one side. Might require strapping to hold it up without pulling loose.
