Insulating existing overhead door ???

What are the options on insulating an existing 16' overhead garage door?

The garage has sliding screen panels in front of the overhead door.
I thought about attaching (making them removable) rigid insulation board, with a reflective outer surface, to the inside of the screen panels. They wouldn't be able to slide with the insulation up, but if the panels were easily removed, it might work.

Other ideas?

Can't you get some styrofoam insulation panels and cut it to fit inside the squares of the garage door? That's what the factory does, only the factory has a nice pebble finish on theirs. They make insulation kits for garage doors but don't look as nice as a flat panel I don't think. All sorts of ways to insilate it, but sheet styrofoam would be the easiest then you could paint it.

I had thought of that plus putting larger panels over these, to cover the whole door, leaving a gap, where the door panels have to hinge to roll up. Bevel cut these edges, if I wanted to get fancy.

I think I saved the pic, but one member took aluminum flashing and covered his with it. It looked great. I believe it was also glorified by Ryan on here. Plus the article was in a magazine.

I'll be back.

Flashing would cover the insulation nicely.
Another idea. The 16" oh door has tracks with 4 sliding screen panels, outside of the oh door.
I'm not sure how much room is between the door and screens.
1. Take 4'wide insulation sheets (as thick as possible) and somehow secure them on the inside of the sliding screen panels. They wouldn't slide now.
2. Or I could replace the screen panels with insulation panels.
3. I'd like to keep the screens as they look good. Maybe I should cover the inside of the .
I wish I could check out the distance between screen and door, but don't have access for at least a week.
