Hi guys. Had some questions about my garage. I am in the middle of building a 24 x 24 1.5 story detached garage. I am framed and 95% sheeted with 7/16 osb on 16" 2x4 centers. Attic trusses with 24" centers. I was debating on doing insulation sheathing and/or housewrap. I feel like I wont insulate at least downstairs immediately and would benefit more from the foam boards. What do you guys think?

I would say over the insulation board to keep any potential weather off them.

Still couldn't see your picture by the way. Can anyone else?

If I had mine to do over again I would use the foam boards if it is in the budget. The 3/4 inch boards are actually T&G.

If I wrapped it, I was thinking of doing R-max 1/2", it has a reflective side as well. If no wrap, was going to do the pink or blue and get either T&G (preferred) or tape the seams.....not a lot of faith in the longevity of the tape, however.

If you use the tape (not sure of the name) that is sold for wrap or moisture barriers it will hold up. If using the T&G I would not tape it except for the **** seams. I would want a minor amount of breathing, especially in high humidity areas.

I've got 9'6" clearance on the bottom. Maybe one day, but probably not anytime soon. Sorting on the wiring layout now. By the way, I talked to the building inspector. Interestingly enough, they allow a 100 amp breaker at the house on 2-2-2-4 AL direct burial. I was wondering if I will ever overload that, though
