xmas I had a metal building set up with an R19 insulation package, the problem is I am going to have to insulate the eaves as the outfit I bought it from didn't do any insulating in the eaves, so I have a 2' span all the way around a 40 X 60 building that will literaly **** the heat out. It's finished inside so everything will need to be done from the outside, probably urethane, unless any one knows of a better way. I have until summer to decide.

This is a spray in insulation. We use it in some of the high end homes we build. Contractor's price is between $1.75 and $2.00 per square foot. You may be able to find a contractor that will spray it for you. I don't think the spray in type is a DIY project. They have a special mixing rig because the two part system comes in 55 gallon drums. Hope this helps.

Where in Alaska are you? I lived in Sitka for a couple of years.

Save the shipping and drive on over to the Yuan Co. in New Paltz New York. Thats where I got my roll slab insulation with vapor barrier. The R value was 14.5 and is 97% reflective. It came in large rolls for very few seams. I also picked up my 2" thick foam insulation board there as well.

Thanks I'll look in to it. I'm in Willow now, was in Homer and before that Wasilla.
In Sitka did you ever run in to an electrician by the name of Mel Kinslow? :shocking:
