What is the proper/best way to insulate linesets exposed to the weather.
Was just working on a lineset cover that got blown away during Sandy...
The 3 linesets inside the *covers* were still pretty new
I know up on the roof, where we have our units, one area is just bare copper and another is just showing signs of weathering.
I have seen some linesets covered in white. Not sure if this is for aethetic purposes *versus ducts* or is just plain 'old black foam the most common way of having linesets *exposed* to the elements.
